ETHICS & COMPLIANCE @ PURATOS

Puratos is a company which maintains the highest ethical values, as is reflected in our company symbol: the unicorn represents both integrity and courage. Ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of integrity is the key to success in everything we do. Ethics drive our decisions, through being true to our conscience, maintaining our professional standards, honoring our commitments and ensuring absolute food safety.

In spite of this strong commitment however, one day you may observe conduct that you believe violates the law, our Business Ethics & Code of Conduct policy or our company policies. If you observe or suspect such misconduct we encourage you to speak up. By doing so, you will offer Puratos the opportunity to investigate the issue.

Remaining silent about potential misconduct may worsen a situation and negatively impact the trust people place in us as an organization. It is therefore essential for us to safeguard our reputation, protect our interests and ensure we are in the best ethical position to remain successful.

Puratos values the help of employees (or third parties) who identify and speak up about suspected misconduct very highly. We do not tolerate any form of retaliation against an individual who reports a concern in good faith.

In accordance with evolving European legislation, more strict BRC quality audit requirements and explicit customer requests, Puratos has decided to enlarge its reporting options by opening this Ethics Portal.

All reports are strictly confidential. You can find more information regarding this topic within the "Privacy policy" menu section above.

The online Ethics Portal is intended for serious matters such as fraud, bribery, theft, accounting irregularities, etc. which cannot be reported through normal channels.

The Ethics portal may not be used to make false accusations against others, or knowingly report incorrect information.
The Ethics Portal, staffed by an independent third party, provides a secure and confidential way to report concerns about potential violations.
Anyone can contact the Ethics Portal, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When you send the report you have the option to choose whether you remain available for further inquiries by opening a secure post box.

Reports can be anonymous but we recommend that you make yourself available because we may conduct a more thorough investigation if we can communicate with you, and may not be able to finalize the case without further information from you.

When you create a post box you will be given a case number and be asked to choose a password.

You can use the case number and password to log in to the post box in order to see if you have received any questions.

Regardless of whether or not you remain anonymous we recommend opening a post box.  This makes it both safer and easier for us to communicate with you.
